Row filter

Keep rows that match an exact text, contains, blank, or numeric comparison rule. Preview the retained records without editing cell values.

1. Bring in a table

CSV or TSV · UTF-8 text · up to 5 MiB, 20,000 records, and 100 columns

All values stay text, including IDs like 0017.
Quoted commas, quotes, and line breaks are preserved. Choose the delimiter if detection is wrong.

What this tool does

A filter selects whole records using one field and one rule. Text comparisons are literal; case can be ignored explicitly. Numeric rules accept finite decimal and exponent text, while blank or nonnumeric cells do not match. The original input order is retained.

How to use it

  1. Choose the field and an operator such as equals, contains, blank, or greater than.
  2. Enter a comparison value when the operator needs one. Numeric rules expect a number.
  3. Run the filter, review how many records were kept, and download the new CSV.

2. Check the input

Confirm the header and a few records before applying a rule.

Questions

What to expect

Does filtering change values?

No. It only includes or excludes complete records.

Can I combine multiple conditions?

Not in one run. Filter the output again with a second rule if you need a sequential workflow, and keep the original file.

Review the destination rules. A valid CSV or a clean report does not guarantee that another system will accept the file. Keep your original and verify any export before importing it.
