Reorder CSV columns for a specific import
Some receiving systems expect a known field order. Rearrange headers and their complete columns without editing their values.
Confirm the required header sequence
Use the receiving system documentation or a known-good export to write the target order first. Header spelling and column order can both matter to a downstream import.
Move each field with labelled controls
Use the Move up and Move down buttons beside a field. The buttons also work from the keyboard, so reordering does not depend on dragging a row with a pointer. Every source field must remain exactly once.
Review the result as a whole
The output moves each header with all its cell values. Record order and cell text remain unchanged. Inspect the first few rows after rearranging to confirm IDs and values still sit under the expected headers.
Use selection for a smaller export
Reordering does not remove columns. If some fields should not be included, use the Column picker first and then verify the exported headers against the recipient requirements.
